The purpose of this site is to provide a structured and logical sequence for teaching the 'big ideas' associated with Area of Study 2 (Change Over Time) for VCE Biology, Unit 4. This has been achieved through careful and considered identification of the specific aims for each topic, identification of common alternative conceptions, careful consideration of the order in which to present information and the provision of a number of learning activities that address the specific challenges for this area of study.
